DESCRIPTION
The set consists of 2 kidney-shaped trochanter cushions (gray fabric cover) and 2 oval Trochanter Pads (blue fabric cover). The pads and cushions are each fastened on the inside of the joint splint.
The trochanter cushion protects the greater trochanter, the bony protrusion of the thigh bone, against friction and pressure peaks. During walking, the Trochanter Pad moves up and down in the joint splint and massages the soft tissue above the greater trochanter. This relaxes the muscles carrying out the movement.
