Products


Helpful and comprehensive product information is displayed with each product.


To access this information, go to the product detail page by navigating there or using the search field. At the bottom of the product detail page, there are several tabs with information about product details, measuring and treatment.


In the ‘Downloads’ tab, you can find PDF documents on instructions for use, assembly instructions, returns, order sheets and much more.



On the product detail page, select all features to configure your desired item. Depending on your selection, you will see various suggestions. Once a feature has been successfully selected, a green tick will appear on the right.


If several features have been successfully selected in an area, it closes automatically, and you can see the green tick on the right. Once the configuration is complete, you will be shown an overview of the selected features and the respective item number below the selection boxes. You will then be able to add the item to the basket.



To add an item to the basket, you have to configure all the required features for this item. You can add an item to the basket only when all the features on the product detail page have a green tick.


Please look for incomplete features on the product detail page. These features are highlighted with an orange exclamation point on the right.



Depending on the features you have selected on the product detail page, there are certain item combinations that are only available as standard or custom-made versions. Try to delete the feature selection to see all available combinations. You can do so by clicking the ‘trash can’ icon in the relevant box on the right.


Tip: In the ‘Size’ section, first select ‘standard’ or ‘custom-made’ to see which features are available for standard and made-to-measure products.



You first have to configure all the required features on the product detail page. Please look for incomplete features on the product detail page. These features are highlighted with an orange exclamation point on the right.


Tip: A point that is often overlooked is the definition of the treatment area. After you have completed the entire configuration, you can enter or load measurement data.


Order

The order process has three steps. In the first step, your basket is displayed. In Step 2 ‘Check and submit’ and Step 3 ‘Done’, you are going through the order process.


Step 1 – ‘Basket’: In this step, the items you added to the basket are displayed, and you can add an internal order number or a note. You can also add or remove order quantities and individual items here. Once you click the ‘Review order’ button, availability checks and price calculations will be performed in the background, and you will progress to Step 2, ‘Check and submit’.


Step 2 – ‘Check and submit’: Before completing the order, it’s important to check the delivery method and delivery address. These can be found below the ordered items. Please check them carefully. Clicking on the ‘Confirm purchase’ button completes the order, and you will progress to Step 3, ‘Done’.


Step 3 – ‘Done’: You are now in the confirmation of receipt section. You can print your confirmation of receipt, if required. The order number is also displayed on this page.



No. You can order from us without a minimum order value, bearing the shipping costs in mind.



You first have to configure all the required features on the product detail page. Once the product has been sufficiently configured, the ‘Select sizes’ button becomes visible in the ‘Size’ section. By clicking this button, a form with the available sizes pops up.


Complete this form as required. Only items with a quantity will be taken into account for further actions.


By clicking the basket icon on the right, you can add individual items to the basket. You also have the option of adding the entire form to the basket (please indicate the relevant quantities) by clicking the ‘Add all selected items to shopping basket’ button.


Tip: By checking the individual items, a ‘1’ is automatically entered in the quantity box.



You have two options for submitting repeat orders:


1. Via the order history in the ‘My account’ section: Find your original order in the order history. Access the order details by clicking the order number. Using the basket icon, you can add the previous order directly to the basket including all its features and measurements. To add a newly configured item to the basket, access the product detail page by entering the item number. As before, the recommended size will be displayed, and you can check or change all item features and measurements.


2. Via the patient records in the ‘My account’ section: Navigate to ‘Treatment’ via the ‘Patients’ main menu under the ‘Treatments’ sub-menu. Now look for the relevant product and select it. By clicking the ‘Repeat orders’ button within the treatment, the treatment is added to the basket.



This option is only available for standard products, not for custom-made solutions.


Add the desired items to the basket. At the bottom of the basket, you can see the ‘Additional options’ button. Via the ‘Save as order template’ sub-item, you can then save your basket as a template. You can manage order templates under ‘Order templates’ in the ‘My account’ area.



You cannot change your payment method because it has been configured in our system. If you want to change your payment method, please contact our Service Hotline. See the header (top section) for the phone number.

You can view your orders under ‘My account’ in ‘Order history’. You can view the status of your order there or under ‘Order details’.


Manual


Upon completion of an order, you will see a confirmation of order receipt on the ‘Done’ page. You can print this via the printer icon at the top right.


You can also print the confirmation of order receipt at any time by accessing the ‘My account – Order history’ section and selecting the order number under ‘Order details.’



There are different options for finding your desired product.


1. In the search field, which is shown at the top of each shop page, you can search for keywords such as body areas, product names or categories as well as EAN codes, pharmaceutical registration numbers (PZN), item numbers or parts thereof.


2. When selecting the ‘Products’ menu item in the navigation bar, the choice of product categories is displayed. You can start via main or sub-categories and are then taken to the relevant product overview page.


3. On the homepage of the shop, you will find a tiled view. By selecting a product category, you are taken to the product overview page.


Tip: Use our search option to quickly find your required product.



As a logged in user, you have two options to do this:


1. Start via the ‘Patients’ section: via the ‘Patients’ main menu under the ‘Treatments’ sub-menu, navigate to ‘Treatment’. Now look for the relevant product and select it. By clicking the ‘Datasheet’ button within the ‘Treatment’ section, you can download the datasheet as a PDF and print it.


2. Start via the ‘Product detail page’: select a patient on the product detail page and configure the item. Now load the measurement data. Then add the item to the basket. A dialog will pop up: ‘The treatment has been created. Would you like to print the datasheet for this treatment?’



One option is to enter the exact item number, EAN or PZN in the search field at the top. By using the exact item number, you are forwarded directly to the product detail page where you can easily add the item to the basket.


You can also enter an exact item number, EAN or PZN in the bottom input field in the basket (below the basket items) and add the item by clicking the ‘Add product’ button. You can also use your conventional hand scanner for this input field.



This option is available using the star icon in the top or bottom section of the product detail page. You can save a fully configured item or a partial configuration for frequently used products. When you next access the product detail page, you can retrieve the saved template via the star icon and add the remaining features.



On the experts.bauerfeind.com pages, you can see a link to our newsletter in the footer (bottom section). By clicking the link, you will be forwarded to the registration form. Complete the form with the required details, and you will receive helpful information about our company, products, offers and services at regular intervals.


Login and User Data


As a medical retailer, you can register to use our online shop via the registration form.


We will send your access details to your indicated e-mail address as soon as possible.



You cannot create a new password without being logged in. Please contact our Service Hotline for help. Our staff members will be happy to help.


If you continue to have problems logging in, please contact us.



Check if you are using the correct access details. These were sent to you by e-mail and consist of the access number and password.


The access number is your 7-digit Bauerfeind customer number, followed by a hyphen and a reference number. (e.g. 1234567-2).



Your password can be changed directly in the shop, in the ‘My account’ area, under ‘Change password’.


First enter your current password. Then enter and repeat your new password. Please observe the instructions regarding the creation of passwords.


Confirm your entries by clicking the ‘Change password’ button.



You are not able to change your personal details yourself, as such changes must also be applied to our master data.

In the ‘My account’ area, you can check your currently registered address at any time in the ‘Address book’ section.

Search


Check if you have correctly spelled the item you’re looking for. Alternatively, try a different term for the search. You can also try to use parts of the search term.


Example: You want to look for the product “Spinova Support Plus”. Try to just use “Spinova”.


Note: If our system cannot find a relevant result for your search, we would be grateful if you could share your suggestions and experience of our search feature with us. Please use the contact form to do so.



Enter the name of the required product (item name), its item number, EAN or PZN in the search field in the header (top section). Then click on the magnifying glass icon or press Enter.


Tip: Our system will try to find the best suggestion for you and will display this as a list of suggestions below your input. Select a suggestion by clicking it, or by using the arrow keys and then pressing Enter.


Note: Please make sure that ‘Products’ is selected next to the search field.



To do this, go to ‘My account’. Under ‘Patients’, access the ‘Patient list’. You can use various filters to search for patients there.
