DESCRIPTION

The MalleoTrain alleviates pain, for example after supination trauma, stabilizes the ankle and helps reduce local swelling. The support exerts medical compression on the tissue and offers a massaging effect during movement, thus improving circulation. Edemas, effusions and hematomas are removed more quickly. The anatomically contoured high-low knitted fabric of the MalleoTrain features a highly textured surface for comprehensive stimulation of the ankle’s proprioceptors, thus improving control of the joint-stabilizing muscles. The support provides reliable stabilization in cases of mild instability and helps balance strain more dynamically. Two anatomically contoured, viscoelastic pads, the MalleoPads, are positioned behind the lateral and medial malleoli to provide the perfect fit. They prevent pressure peaks and distribute therapeutic compression also to areas that are covered by the knitted fabric.

Thanks to its highly textured high-low knitted fabric and the anatomically contoured MalleoPads, the MalleoTrain remains securely in position. Its breathable, latex-free material, compression-reduced edges and the airy, soft comfort zone in the instep area ensure a pleasant wearing sensation. The donning aid provided makes it easier to put on.
