Spinova® Osteo ES
Orthosis for active straightening and enhanced stabilization of the spine|

|
DESCRIPTION
Spinova Osteo ES (“Extra Stability”) relieves the spine and improves posture and gait in patients with osteoporosis and kyphosis. The brace reduces pain by straightening the upper body and providing increased stabilization in the sagittal and frontal planes.
The brace provides passive and active stabilization: The stabilizing pelvic support is anchored below the abdomen to ensure a secure fit. The extended reclinator, posterior panel, and the double-crossed tensioning strap system straighten and stabilize the thoracic and lumbar spine. The posterior panel extends from the sacrum to T5 and enhances the stabilizing effect of the orthosis in the sagittal and frontal plane. The tensioning strap system’s targeted force is applied from the shoulders to correct the spine and improve posture. This also activates the back muscles. The tension of the straps can easily be adjusted by pulling the finger loops.
The posterior panel can be removed for additional mobilization. The posterior panel combined with the tensioning strap system stabilize the brace in the sagittal plane and promote active straightening.
Spinova Osteo ES is lightweight, easy to put on, and comfortable to wear under clothing.
