AchilloTrain - Achilles Tendonitis Brace

DESCRIPTION

The AchilloTrain provides the Achilles tendon with targeted relief and supports healing processes following irritation caused by injury or excessive strain. Using medically effective compression and circulation-stimulating massage effects, the support helps alleviate pain and reduce swelling during movement.

The AchilloTrain’s anatomically contoured high-low knitted fabric and viscoelastic pad extend all the way to the muscle-tendon transition in the calf area. The knitted fabric features a highly textured surface that ensures the perfect fit and secure positioning to stimulate the proprioceptors in the muscle tissue. The pad surrounds the Achilles tendon and provides a pain-relieving massage during movement. Nubs on the inside have a targeted effect below the ankles, and fine loops along both sides of the Achilles tendon ensure relieving friction in a transverse direction. Optional heel wedges for shoes provide the tendon with additional relief and compensate the other side.

The AchilloTrain’s particularly soft knitted fabric features a comfort zone around the instep, a laterally offset seam, and flexible edges that do not constrict. An expansion zone at the front of the shin bone and grip recesses on the pad make donning and doffing easier.
